Peace….. Happiness

So much weighs on our minds.

Too much weighs on our hearts.

For many of us, we have to take everything that we deal with, one day at a time.

All the tasks aren’t getting done due to us being overwhelmed with the many distractions that get in the way.

How do we overcome this? How do we find balance? How do we find happiness? My suggestion is to get Peace first.

Having peace is vital and it can help us see the “BIG” picture clearer. We could possibly find solutions to things that are problematic. With Peace comes Acceptance and Happiness will follow not too far behind. Have you struggled with finding happiness? Do you believe you have peace in your life? I’m working on it and pray to get there one day! I hope the same for you all as well.

Feel Good Friday: I love helping people

For the Love of the People.

I love connecting with people and helping them. It brings joy to my heart knowing that I set an impact on someone’s Life.

In the past few weeks, I’ve met new people. Some were from work and others were fellow MS Warriors. I’ve also have made new connections with people from views of my YouTube videos.

Maybe this is my purpose? Being a voice for those who are unable to share their struggle. Being that ear to listen when some feel that there is no one to listen. That support when many feel they are alone.

Therefore, thank you to my new pals. Thank you to my supporters. Thank you to the people who follow or have subscribed to my sites. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know. You all play a vital role in my search for Purpose and Healing.

Helping others, makes me feel good on this “Feel Good Friday”.

The weather

As a child, I never quite understood how older people could tell it was going to rain or when they said “It’s cold, I can feel it in my bones”. It’s funny how life happens because now I say similar things!

Since being diagnosed with MS, my body lets me know if the humidity is high, if it will rain, and if the temperature is very cold. I experience leg weakness during this time, numbness in toes and sometimes very painful nerve pain. As I type this post, my left big toe is curing numb and I’m having nerve pain in both legs. It really sucks.

However, the show has to still go on. On days like this, I still have to be wifey, mommy and assistant supervisor at work. I pray to God for strength, as tears may flow down my cheeks and slowly get it together. I know there are others who experience this and more. There are other warriors with physical ailments and mental issues that can be thrown off due to the weather.

When it rains, it pours. I wish, I could cut back some of the storms, but unfortunately that can’t happen and that’s Life. How we choose to manage IS up to us.

We can let the weather take over us and our spirit or we can dance in the rain and view the rainbow that follows.

Where is the love?-Sometimes the bees in your life don’t deserve honey!

I know we have heard the phrase, “you attract more bees with honey than vinegar”. I actually live by this, Most of the time. The issue that presents itself is that my kindness and sweet gestures are often taken for granted. Some people just are takers and it doesn’t matter if you give them your last cent, they will continue to demand more of you.

I’m slowly but surely learning that folks are undeserving of my kindness, time and patience. So, I will continue to be me but with better discernment.

Friends, do you ever feel this way? How do you handle it? Let me know below!

The easiest way to Learn..

Is by Listening.

We constantly want to talk or talk over people but rarely do many just sit back and listen.

When we listen, we learn and observe from the one speaking. Think about it.. in a class room you are able to receive the information if you are being quiet. In a relationship of any sort, you would only know a person’s view by listening to them. Even when we are doing some soul searching, we listen to that inner voice for peace.

Do you listen or only hear when someone talks? By listening, you can receive knowledge, opportunities for growth and much more.

I, too, am learning the importance of Learning through Listening and I hope you do the same.

Don’t let them put fear in your heart

Hi friends

I know we live during a time that bullying and people in superior roles can do a lot of intimidating to those they feel are beneath them. However, We have to continue to stand our ground while being respectful.

One thing that I’m learning, is that life is difficult and people will try to make your life difficult as well. We have to choose PEACE over anything. I don’t know about you guys but when there is no peace in my heart, I do not function well nor do I give any task my best performance. It’s just added baggage that I can’t deal with.

I remember a time that my heart would race rapidly whenever I had to speak to someone in a role superior than myself. It was until I developed my own relationship with the Lord and a lot of those fears dwindled down. In a similar post, I realized that people are people but God is God. God is the only One to Fear.

If this is hard for you, please take a breather. Remember, people have to breathe, eat, and sleep just like You. They bleed, experience heartache just like You. Regardless of the amount of money that make or where they live, we are all have a life journey and Fear isn’t an Option.

Highs and lows

The snow brought a lot of time to reflect with the chilly temps. It reminded me that it’s a cold world out there.

Observe Everything!

Many people want to celebrate around you when you are Up but disappear when you are down. Make that circle tighter. No hurt feelings

Don’t force it!

To my wonderful people:

Please remember the above statement. Many of us love hard and have big hearts. A lot of times, those big hearts get taken for granted or broken. When that happens, we must remember that those toxic individuals or things are not for Us.
From a Faith Standpoint
God doesn’t bless mess. If it’s of God, you would have to fight, beg or plead for it to work. There is a plan set for us, but that thing or person just might have been a detour that we need it to continue to our successful path.
Please don’t stay down or give up. Things will turn around and you will be great! Hang in there!

Where is the Love Wednesdays: Family Matters

Hi friends. Happy hump day 🙂

Today started extremely rough as I was not feeling well however, my mother stopped by and helped with my son. Hubby and I are very thankful for our family and it made me think of the importance of family.

We all know the saying: “you can’t pick your family”. This is true and we can all admit that we have some family members that could irk our nerves from time to time or some members aren’t close with others. However, when it comes down to it, family can be all that you have. We don’t always have to get along 100% of the time but the love and blood is never broken.
We all have different dynamics but do you feel family is important? Let me know your thoughts.
